The West Bank of Palestine has about disappeared. Israeli “settlers” have been chipping away at it for decades, emptying one village after another, demolishing one olive grove after another, and replacing them with apartment buildings for Israeli settlers. This is against international law, but neither the Israeli government nor any other has done anything about it.
Under international law countries are not permitted to appropriate occupied territory of another country. In Israel there was a Jewish organization that tried to prevent the theft of Palestinian property and territory. I have not seen any reference to this organization for a long time, and I do not know if it still exists.
Since 1947 Israel has continually expanded its own borders by illegally incorporating Palestinian land into Israel. Israeli bulldozers would appear in a Palestinian village or olive grove and demolish the homes, uproot the trees and drive out the Palestinian owners.
